Calgary continues to be an event hot spot March through June 2010 with several amazing speakers coming to town. Here’s a sampling of top notch communications, marketing, and digital events that are on my radar:

Internet Marketing Conference (IMC), March 16/17

After many years of international success, IMC is finally coming to Calgary with a great line up of speakers including the co-founder of ping.fm Ryan Merket.

“Internet video for business and pleasure”, Third Tuesday Social Media Club, March 23

Calgary’s Neil Scott of Orange Internet Video will lead the social media club through tips, tricks, and techniques to produce high-quality Internet video for business and pleasure.

“Building a brand from the ground up” – CPRS Calgary, March 30

Bill Smullen, Syracuse University Professor and former Chief of Staff to former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, is coming to Calgary March 30, 2010 to speak to CPRS members and friends. Smullen’s topic is “Building a Brand from the Ground Up – A case study on America’s Promise.”

    Many thanks for your posts covering this niche. accounting standards are something we like arguing about.

    Although there are many different sides on the subject, it is nonetheless excellent that you have offered this site and opinion.

    A analysis of the problems encountered in migration between GAAP and IFRS might make for some engrossing discussion.
