Black Friday puts Boxing Day to shame
Canadians, barely out of our own tryptophan-induced comas, waxed envious for American Thanksgiving on the social web this week. In the words of @onlylucy: “Seriously craving turkey. Damn Americans.”
If you believe Wikipedia, soporific stupor due to turkey tryptophan is a myth: “Postprandial Thanksgiving sedation may have more to do with what else is consumed along with the turkey, in particular carbohydrates and alcohol.”
In other words, if you pig out and drink too much, you may get sleepy — don’t you love it when scientists prove the obvious? Zzzzzzzzzzzz.

Ah right ….yes before it wanted me to become a member of WordPress to leave a reply. Hate to blacken or rather darken your day but uh is there a typo in here? “#blackfriday is when they sell you s— for 50 per cent off the already 150 per cent marked up item so you only pay 10 per cent FOR S— THEY MAKE FOR 10 per cent IN CHINA.”
