U blog, me blog, YYC blogs
Yikes, it’s been over a month since my last post! While my own blog has gone hungry I have written tasty tidbits for the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) (here and here), The Canadian Marketing Association, Techvibes.com, and the Canadian Public Relations Society.
“Yeah, and the dog ate your homework” you might say. Fair enough.
So today’s post is a quickie to get back in the blogging saddle, and support my pal Duncan Kinney and his work establishing yycBlogs.com.
For the uninitiated, YYC is the airport code for Calgary, AB, Canada. On Twitter, airport codes are quickly being adopted as filters to create “city networks”. So any tweet with the hashtag #yyc is intended for a Calgary audience or is at least in reference to matters pertaining to Calgary.
So yycBlogs is, quite simply, a blog of Calgary blogs. Or in their own words:
yycBlogs wants to be the destination to visit if you blog or read blogs in Calgary. We serve Calgary’s blogging community through aggregation, linking and promotion.
Pop on by and pay them a visit – there’s sure to be lots of Calgary content if you have the appetite for Cowtown material!
